Join us for the 2026 Hugh Ogden Poet on Tuesday, April 7th, 2026 at 6:30 PM at Smith House at Trinity College featuring Dawn Lundy Martin.

  • The Hugh S. Ogden Poetry Prize/Poet-In-residence was established by family, friends, former students, and colleagues in loving memory of Hugh S. Ogden, Professor of English at the College from 1967 through 2006. Recipients of the prize receive an honorarium from the College and be provided with funding for their visit to the College to present a poetry reading in honor of Professor Ogden.
